Say why, in your own words.
Everyone quoted on this site so far is a legislator, a commissioner, or the person who runs the campaign. It is a real gap. Somebody deciding whether this is serious in their own town is looking for one person from Claremont or Rochester who sounds like them, and we cannot write that person into existence.
What we would do with it
Put your first name, your town, and a paragraph in your own words on a page of this site, alongside five or six others from across the state and across the political spectrum. Whatever you actually said when somebody asked you.
What we would not do
- Publish anything before you have seen exactly how it will appear.
- Edit what you said into something you did not say. We may trim for length, and you approve the trim.
- Use your surname, your street, your employer or your photograph unless you offer them separately.
- Keep it up if you change your mind. Say the word and it comes down, no explanation needed. This is not the pledge roster: that is a record of a commitment made by an officeholder, and this is you doing us a favor.
